Clinical Engineering Intern

About Position

The Oxymend™ team is dedicated to building the future of chronic wound care by combining advancements in biomaterials and battery technology. We've assembled an experienced team of doctors, engineers, and entrepreneurs who lead the development of Oxymend™. We are looking to a highly-motivated, creative thinker who can help in the reiterative cycles of the next few version of the device to optimize efficacy. The core responsibilities are as follows:
- Support pre-clinical testing, prototyping and product development.
- Develop knowledge related to the disease state and anatomy as it relates to the product and patient.
- As an early member of a startup medtech company, this role may lead to early leadership positions within the company providing an opportunity for career growth and gaining valuable experience.

Skills Required

  • BS/MS/PhD in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently in a face-paced environment while being flexible, self-motivated, and curious.
  • Ability to effectively and clearly communicate concepts, ideas and knowledge to other individuals and teams
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance to ISO 13485 &21 CFR 820
  • Prior experience in the regulated medical device environment is a plus.
